History ready to be made at first-ever ladies-only festival Queens of Tallinn 2023

Ladies are gearing up for a thrilling four days of poker action, with the inaugural Queens of Tallinn festival making its debut at the luxurious surroundings of Olympic Park Casino and the adjoining Hilton Tallinn Park from November 30 until December 3.

Players will come from far and near to be part of history, with the Queens of Tallinn eventually becoming the first ladies-only festival in Europe.

The schedule, organized by internationally renowned tournament director Teresa Nousiainen, boasts 11 events, with 10 of them dedicated only to female poker players.

The festival kicks off with an electric vibe with the Queens of Tallinn Meet and Greet beginning at 6 p.m. on November 30. This not only gives a chance for old friends to meet up before the start of the action but also allows newer players to be welcomed into the supportive women’s poker community instantly.

“It will be so much fun running this very special Ladies Poker Festival!” Nousiainen shared. “The Queens of Tallinn €350 Main Event with three starting flights AND the €250 NLH Mystery Bounty Event – these will be great events! It’s our honor and pleasure to welcome all lady poker players to this very unique poker festival – Welcome to the first-ever Queens of Tallinn!”

The event has already caught the attention of the women’s poker community, and we expect the buzz to grow as the action gets closer.

“I am happy to see a celebration of women and a festival focusing on women outside of Las Vegas,” said women’s poker advocate and Globetrotting Poker Women Facebook group founder Maureen Bloechlinger.

“I can’t wait to re-visit beautiful Tallinn for this first-ever Ladies Only Festival in Europe. It’s a great concept and one I’m excited to support. Look forward to seeing female players from across Europe at this special event,” said Daiva Byrne, a professional poker player, Outreach and Community Advocate for GGPoker, and also the owner of the Fantastic Ladies in Poker (FLIP) Global Female Community.

Queens of Tallinn 2023 €350 Main Event

The Queens of Tallinn 2023 €350 Main Event is easily the highlight of the festival with what promises to be the biggest ladies-only event in Northern Europe.

The event boasts plenty of play, with three opening flights from December 1-2. Players will have plenty of opportunity to build a massive stack with 30,000 in starting chips and blinds increasing slowly every 40 minutes in the first two starting flights, while the third one offers a faster pace with 20-minute levels. In addition, players can not only re-enter an unlimited amount of times during the eight blind levels of each of the opening flights but also during the first two blind levels of Day 2.

Those surviving the penultimate day will have a chance to win the coveted trophy, and the lion’s share of the prize pool under the lights and cameras with a televised feature table streamed exclusively at OlyBet.tv.

The Queens of Tallinn has been part of festivals in the past, including at our successful WSOP Circuit Tallinn in September. Estonia’s Ave Lepik made history during the WSOP Circuit Tallinn €150 Queens of Tallinn after agreeing to a heads-up deal with fellow Estonian Helen Pavlov to win the title.
